General

The Crown XLi 1500 is a good amplifier with a very friendly price tag. This XLI-series, entry-level amplifier has a power of 2x 450 watts at 4 ohms. It is powerful, rugged and reliable, and perfect for mobile setups, DJs, entertainers, pubs and clubs. The power stage (2x 450 watts at 4 ohms) is fitted with both a balanced and an unbalanced input and can easily be adjusted.

XLI-1500: connectors

The front of the Crown XLi 1500 features an on/off switch and a volume control for each channel. The current status of the preamp is shown by three LED indicators: signal, clip and fault. On the back you'll find both XLR and cinch inputs, as well as SpeakOn or binding post outputs.

The name Crown immediately brings powerful, innovative amplifiers to mind. The XLI amps were designed and made for sound technicians on a limited budget who nonetheless need a proper amplifier.

Une notice en Français serait appréciable, même si la mise en uvre de lappareil est des plus simples. (Juste en rapport avec la loi Française et Européenne)

Très bon rapport qualité / prix. Ventilateur inaudible = utilisation studio ou hi-fi sans problèmes. Connection dentrée possible sur cinch et sélecteur de sensibilité réglable sur 0,7 V. Pourquoi allez payer les prix surfaits dampli hifi ? Et le son ... impeccable.

Onlangs deze versterker besteld, supersnel geleverd, ik heb hem nog niet uit kunnen proberen.
Ik zoek er nog een set bijpassende boxen bij, ik zit te denken aan een paar Dynacord A112 boxen voordeelpakket met statieven (ik heb uit het verleden goede ervaringen met Dynacord speakers met een drive in show) tenzij Bax andere betere suggesties heeft in ongeveer dezelfde prijskllasse.
Ik geef voorlopig 4 sterren, mocht ik een keer de boel open hebben getrokken, kan ik er beter over oordelen, maar ik verwacht eigenlijk geen problemen.

Ik stuur er dual cone speakers mee aan het geluid is lekker krachtig, open en helder ( beter als mijn 2 jaar oude digitale versterker). Op hoog volume spelend blijft de versterker zuiver.
