General
Thankfully, beefy amplifiers no longer have to come loaded with beefy power supplies and packed into giant cabinets. The slim and lightweight Devine D-600 amplifier is able to deliver a mighty two-time 540 Watts at 8 Ohms, or 1,080 Watts at 8 Ohms in bridge mode, from a housing that measures just 1U high. This undeniably beefy yet nimble amp boasts near-silent operation and is built for mobile, on-the-road rigs or neat, fixed installations.
The Devine D-600: Potent Performance
To keep the weight and size as low as possible, the standard transformers have been replaced with switching power supplies, so that, as soon as more power is required, it's automatically switched up, and as soon as the demand is reduced, the power supply immediately responds. This also removes the need for a hefty on-board fan, so instead, the Devine D-600 comes fitted with just two small, near-silent fans that ensure consistent performance.

I have two of these so far and I will be ordering two more. These amplifiers are very lightweight, and quiet...very surprising owing to the size of the cooling fans. When it comes to output, they certainly do not disappoint. Very neutral sound (which is what I personally want), and can certainly get speakers that aren't overly sensitive to play loud if needed. I haven't done any bench testing of these amplifiers, but I have a feeling the documented specification is on the side of conservative, where other brands are known to over-rate their specifications in order to secure sales.
Does this compare to a QSC or a Crown? No, not at all, but neither of them do a sub-£200 amplifier. If you want a decent amp and don't have a lot of money to spend, I really don't think you can go far wrong.
So why the loss of one star? The frequency response of these amplifiers seems somewhat unpredictable across the audio spectrum when they're bridged. So with that in mind; if you need an amplifier that delivers 1000W per channel into an 8ohm load (full range) I don't think this amplifier is for you...

Impressive output from this amp, tested it on a gig on its own on two 15" PSSO cabs and it did really well with a 7 piece band and a house music dj after and it hardly limited at all.

Qua geluid heel behoorlijk en idd lekker licht en compact. Ik heb er twee gekocht en dan valt meteen op dat de ene ventilator meer herrie maakt dan de andere. verder valt op dat de ventilator helemaal niet temperatuurafhankelijk is, zoals wordt beweerd. De ventilatoren beginnen direct te draaien als je ze aan zet en maken vrij veel geluid. Verder is het zo dat de ventilatoren beginnen te rammelen als je een beetje op de deksel van de kast duwt. Sterker nog: bij 1 van de 2 begon hij meteen te ratelen toen ik hem aan zette.
Het goede nieuws: Het is heel eenvoudig op te lossen! Als je het middelste schroefje achter losdraait en er een ringetje tussen zet, dan is het over. De kast is zo krap dat de ventilator een beetje in elkaar wordt gedrukt, waardoor de fan tegen de rand aan loopt.
Verder is het - zeker voor de aanbiedingsprijs - een prima koop. Voordeel is bovendien dat er een aparte uitgang is voor de gebrugte instelling. Dan zit de speakon gewoon op 1 en 2 en hoef je dus geen aparte snoeren te maken voor gebruik in gebrugte schakeling.

Envoi rapide . Cet ampli n'a pas la puissance indiquée mais est bien en dessous . Les ventilateurs sont très bruyants . Le cordon d'alimentation est trop court . Il fonctionne bien .

De versterker heeft een zéér compacte behuizing.
Heeft een laag gewicht en is gemakkelijk in te bouwen.
De ventilatoren make wel wat geluid, maar dat is echter niet storend, ook niet bij een groot vermogen.
De versterker is gekoppeld aan 2 X JB systems Vibe 10 MKII passieve 10 inch luidspreker 200W en heeft geen problemen met de aansturing hiervan.
Prijs kwaliteit is goed, maar een D-klasse versterker is natuurlijk beter, maar geeft ook minder rendement en ook meer warmte.
Hij kan tevens in Bridge geschakeld worden, in dien dat dus nodig zou zijn.

Ho acquistato due di questi ampli e accoppiati con il crossover DBX Pa2,uno per il sub woofer in mono e l'altro in stereo per le medio alte.
Questi ampli suonano alla grande,potenti ed estremamente lineari su tutta la gamma audio con un suono naturale e ben definito.
Il contenitore è molto robusto e le ventole di raffreddamento non sono molto rumorose,non essendo termo controllate girano al massimo subito dopo l'accensione.
Consigliatissimo per chi vuole abbinare potenza e bel suono a basso prezzo e ingombro.
Questi ampli suonano alla grande,potenti ed estremamente lineari su tutta la gamma audio con un suono naturale e ben definito.
Il contenitore è molto robusto e le ventole di raffreddamento non sono molto rumorose,non essendo termo controllate girano al massimo subito dopo l'accensione.
Consigliatissimo per chi vuole abbinare potenza e bel suono a basso prezzo e ingombro.

Cette ampli sera parfait pour votre utilisation, la qualité audio est la, pas de bruit parasite, puissance la mais pas en bridge, elle est moindre que celle en stéréo ou en parallèle , il sera parfait pour des enceinte comme sont frère le d400 que je possède aussi.
