General

This is a new line of amplifiers from a company that started life producing DJ gear. The PE Series from Synq is built specially to ensure that your sound-rack is getting all of the power it needs. Since the Synq PE-900 can handle an impedance of 2 Ohms, it's made for large clubs, drive-in shows and is solid enough to take the demands of hire-companies. Any situation that needs something big will get plenty with the PE-900.

A definite advantage of the PE Series amps is the soft-start. If you have several of these amps fitted in your rack, when you switch on the power, the fuses are not immediately loaded. Instead, power is built up step by step, removing the need for a lot of power in one go. These amps are also fitted with a lot of safeguards including limiters, short-circuit protection, DC current protection and even protection against high temperatures. The high performance and solid, smart design of the PE Series is undoubtedly what makes these amps so sought after.

Also, since the housing is a modest 2U in size, it already has one over most chunky, space-eating amps.
