The Alto Pro LIVE series consists of various PA mixers with a traditional setup and practical additional features. The LIVE 2404 is the most comprehensive model from the series, with regards to the number of channels, subgroups and auxiliaries. The PA mixer offers 18 XLR inputs, each with its own DNA microphone preamp. Each channel is equipped with switchable phantom power, gain control and 75 Hz low cut, and channels 1 through 8 also feature Dynamic Compression.

The 9-band EQ of the LIVE 2404 can be used for the monitor or main mix. De Alto Professional LIVE 2404 PA-mixer is een fantastisch apparaat. Mooie mogelijkheden met het doorsturen van signaal naar subgroepen. Bijvoorbeeld subgroepen 1 en 2 naar links en rechts looper en 3 en 4 naar links en rechts van de audio interface. Ook is er een uitgang voor opnames (voor mijn meer sporen de harddiskrecorder). De eerste 8 kanalen hebben een traploos te regelen compressor. Heel handig voor de zanger die geneigd is de boel te overschreeuwen, of de sologitarist die te hard gaat. Het geluid is mooi. Uitgebreide toonregelingen per kanaal en een equalizer voor het totaal. De schuiven en regelaars werken soepel. En ik kan al mijn apparatuur erop aansluiten. Ik kan niet meer zonder dit mengpaneel.
