It may cost a bit, but then you have something. The Audient ASP4816, quite an impressive analogue mixer, with the looks and workflow of the huge consoles in big studios. However: the old ASP4816 is no more, the ASP4816HE (Heritage Edition) succeeds the old one. This Audient ASP4816SE (Standard Edition) is similar to the HE, but has some things left out. Slightly fewer features, so also a slightly lower price! With products like this, it's price differences that matter. Reputation of the Audient ASP4816

Most may know Audient for its audio interfaces - which are very good, by the way! But decades ago, Audient was already a brand making very hefty analogue mixing consoles. Not portable mixers, in other words, but real mixing consoles. And the world knew it; it turned out to be a real workhorse for many studios on our planet. The numbers speak for themselves, there is little point in telling how good and professional this ASP4816SE console is. Engineers with experience know it, and aspiring engineers can already read the comprehensive manual while waiting for the parcel service!
