General

The Koch Loadbox II (Koch LB120-II, 4 ohm version) is an attenuator, loadbox, speaker simulator and DI-Box in one. You can fully open up your tube amp top and route the resulting sound to a cabinet at a pleasing sound level. Alternatively, the tube sounds can go directly to headphones or, e.g. via the balanced XLR output, to a mixer, without having to connect a cabinet. In the process, cabinet-type and microphone placement are convincingly simulated.

Loadbox II: full power at any volume

The Loadbox's first task is to capture, in place of your cabinet, up to 120 W of power. In doing so, you can connect a 4 ohm cabinet or combo to any of the 7 speaker outputs. If you choose 15%, for example, your tube amp will sound at 15% of its volume, but with full retention of the original sound. Connecting two 8-ohm cabinets is also possible: connect the speaker output to 'From Attenuator' and plug in two speaker cabinets to the two inputs next to it.

Koch quality

After being a guitarist and tube amp expert, Hague-born Dolf Koch founded his own company in 1988. The high-quality guitar and bass amplifiers of the Dutch brand Koch are practical and versatile, and possess a balanced and unique sound. Moreover, they are constructed and tested with the utmost care. It is not for nothing that many professionals rely on Koch quality.
