Equipped with four channels that can be used as stereo pairs, the SPL Transient Designer 4 hands you control over the punch and sustain of your tracks without the fussy threshold, attack and release parameters of a traditional compressor or gate. Since this unique dynamics processor doesn't detect peaks based on any threshold values, you can give louder and quieter parts the same treatment to give drums more punch or acoustic guitars enhanced sustain. The Transient Designer 4 isn't just many-a mixing engineer's secret weapon, it's also an excellent problem solver. Unwanted 'clicks' can be eliminated by simply turning down the attack, while too much reverb can be quick-fixed by reining in the sustain to get a drier sound.
