General

The RedNet 3 by Focusrite offers sixteen optical ADAT ports so you can use full 32-channel digital audio in and out interfaces, even at 96 kHz (S-MUX2). The device supports AES, S/PDIF and ADAT digital audio formats, so you can synch the RedNet system with incoming signal clocks or a wordclock source.

RedNet 3: powerful Dante technology

The Dante technology by Audinate offers the perfect infrastructure for RedNet, ensuring a reliable and robust network architecture with standard components. Most of these are well-known by audio professionals.

The Dante technology offers a guaranteed 128-in and 128-out architecture at 44.1, 48 and 96 Hz at 64 I/O at 192 kHz. With an optional PCIe card, you can reach extremely low latency levels, under 3 ms!

The RedNet digital converter series

The RedNet series consists of five products: four high-quality, versatile interfaces with the traditional Focusrite values and performance. The sound is, of course, the most important aspect, though the price/quality ratio is impressive enough that it's certainly worth mentioning! Also worth mentioning is that the optional RedNet PCI Express card is also available for this series for low-latency audio.

Furthermore, each analogue interface has a dynamic range of 120 dB with 24-bit resolution, so you can use sample rates up to 192 kHz. Every RedNet I/O device also features JetPLL for a very low jitter clock recovery. Focusrite's conversion systems use the newest AD/DAs.
