Ik switchte naar Cubase 14 en schafte daarvoor ook een nieuwe computer aan. Ik ging er vanuit dat mijn RME HDSP 9632 overgeplaatst kon worden, maar er was geen PCI-slot voorhanden en de zelfs met een adapter in het PCIe-slot stuitte ik op problemen. Ik ben me dus gaan oriënteren op iets nieuws en kwam uit op deze Scarlett. Een erg goede keus blijkt nu, want hij bevalt erg goed. Niet alleen heb ik meer in- en outputs (ik gebruik nu 16 met behulp van de ADAT optische interface), het aansluiten (USB-C), configureren etc. is echt een eitje, de geluidskwaliteit is absoluut goed en de Focus Control software is uiterst gebruiksvriendelijk.
