General

A powerful all-in-one studio hub, the Focusrite Scarlett 16i16 Interface has been designed for musicians, producers and engineers in need of an extensive and expandable yet compact and space-saving recording master. The 4th-Gen edition of the Scarlett supplies two ultra-low-noise microphone preamps and wields an impressive 69 decibel range that guarantees unrivalled clarity and detail. The versatile connection options include Hi-Z, line and MIDI ports so the full gambit of instruments and equipment can be hooked up and, when you hit the specialised Air button found on the front panel, every recording is given some vintage-flavoured analogue-style life.

Intelligent Features

Useful functions like Auto Gain and Clip Safe automatically adjust the input levels for you, leaving you free to focus on the recording and your performance and, via the Focusrite Control 2 partner app, users can even manage preamp settings from a distance, boosting both the flexibility and efficiency of your setup. With this tight interface, you can even conduct sessions with multiple artists and musicians, making tweaks from the control room with ease.

A Complete Package + Software

The box doesn't just include the Scarlett 16i16, but a fat software bundle, including the Hitmaker Expansion software package, which comes with popular programmes like Ableton Live Lite and Pro Tools Artist, essentially handing you an all-in-one production tool kit. Professional monitor options are also supported by the integrated set of custom headphone amplifiers, the four-way monitor inputs fitted on the rear and the front-mounted alt-monitor switch, amounting to an audio interface that essentially takes home studios to the pro-level and even gives pro-studios more than enough to chew on.
