There's plenty of studio work the Drawmer 1970 is willing to do for you. This two-channel microphone preamplifier and FET compressor moulds your sound during recording and can be used as a bus compressor while mixing.
The Drawmer 1970
Looking for a machine that can be used during multiple stages of the production process? Drawmer's 1970 is extremely all-round and adaptable. For starters, you can plug in two microphones or a Hi-Z instrument such as an electric guitar or bass. The two on-board preamps are made by THAT Corporation and ensure transparent, detailed signal amplification, while the instrument input has its own tone control and the microphone inputs offer four impedance settings.
Dual FET Compressor
The two FET compressors inside the 1970 can be independently used, either during recording or mixing. Just like the classic 1176 compressor, the ratio, attack and release can be adjusted for a quick and punchy result. By activating the newly-added Big function, the compressor becomes less sensitive to the lower frequencies to preserve the deepest basses and there's the Air function to compensate for the possible loss of any highs. Needless to say, the compressors can be linked up for use as a stereo bus compressor.
