Back in the sixties, classics like the now iconic LA-2A studio outboard were born, made and coveted. The LA-2A compressor, whose tube magic can be heard in countless chart-topping hits from the 20th century is now virtually impossible to come by, never mind afford. As such, IGS Audio have developed the One Leveling Amplifier optical compressor as a worthy successor. It has a vintage feel and only a few controls for intuitive use. This type of optical compressor works with a photocell and tubes that work their magic on your tracks. It's easy to use and sounds excellent; what more could you possibly need?
