General

The HS series is a reliable factor in the audio world. This HS7 falls nicely into the gap between the HS50 and HS80 models and no longer features magnetic shielding. In the past, magnetic shielding was needed to limit any interference when the speakers were placed near a computer monitor. As flatscreens are no longer subject to magnetic disturbance, magnetic shielding is no longer necessary, which is great news since leaving this feature out of the design improves the overall output of the speakers.

The Yamaha HS7: Powerful & Affordable

The HS7 is well-suited for serious mixing jobs and while it is compact and light, it certainly doesn't lack power: the monitor packs 95 Watts, comprised of 60 Watts for lows and 35 Watts for high tones. Its white 6.5 inch woofer features a natural bass response from 50 Hz while Room Control and High Trim ensure that the HS7 sounds perfect in every room. The HS7 features powerful characteristics and comes at a surprisingly affordable price.

I was just about to click & order these monitors until I saw the review. You should have replied to the customer as I will now pay a little more on another site.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered 2 monitors and a pair of cables while they were in stock and a 2 days delivery was promised. After one week, I called them and they said they are still waiting for an UK adaptor to deliver the monitors. Their warehouse is in the Netherlands apparently. After another week, I received a parcel that had ONLY ONE MONITOR!!! I have been now trying to call them and they are not answering. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I will now spend the rest of the week trying to return the monitor to get my 350 pounds back.
