General

Synonymous with the best that Sigma Guitars has to offer, the Custom Series SDR-42 acoustic guitar has an exquisite, all-solid construction with a dovetail-bound neck. The solid soundboard has been made from AA-grade sitka spruce while the back and sides have been made from Indian rosewood. This proven tonal recipe guarantees natural depth and a lush balance between the basses and trebles, and fully supports flat-picking as well as finger-picking techniques. This model also comes coated in high-gloss varnish that's then been treated with an ageing toner rub for a timeless finish.

The Sigma Guitars SDR-42: Deluxe Detailing

The most striking thing about this D-14-shaped model is the deluxe detailing. The purfling, soundhole rosette, position markers, and the headstock inlay have all been hewn in complex abalone and combines with a set of gold-plated Grover machine heads and a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard to complete a stunning picture. In terms of playability, this guitar is just as stunning, since the ebony fretboard has been topped off with a 44.5mm-wide bone nut, increasing the string spacing just a touch for enhanced playing accuracy. The Sigma Guitars SDR-42 comes complete with a hard-wearing softcase.

Une guitare extraordinaire !
Elle est très belle oui, elle est confortable à jouer aussi (après quelques réglages de la hauteur des cordes), mais le son , et la puissance de cette guitare sont juste monstrueux ! J'ai une quinzaine de guitares dont une jumbo qui envoie pas mal, mais cette réplique de la Martin D42 est phénoménal 🤩
Pour s'accompagner au chant, mieux vaut un médiator fin, ou jouer aux doigts. Sinon, les spectateurs n'entendront pas votre voix !
Une guitare a avoir absolument dans sa collection !
