Humbucking

In essence, a humbucker is a stacked single-coil, resulting in insensitivity to the dreaded ground hum, the 50 or 60Hz hum. Additionally, a humbucker sounds warmer, and it has more body than a single-coil. Add the neodymium basis of the Fishman Rare Earth humbucker and you'll see that it is a worthy link between your instrument and a mixer. Batteries are included and are incorporated into the pickup itself.
