With the release of the 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah, the expressive signature sounds of Steve Vai and other guitar virtuosos is suddenly available in the form of one versatile and user-friendly effects pedal that's thankfully small and doesn't take up much precious pedalboard space. Morley have decorated the Bad Horsie with two glow in the dark logos that definitely won't go unnoticed on any dark stage, and the built-in Contour mode enables you to set a custom frequency for the effect and opens the door to a huge variety of different whinnying wah-based sounds. Meanwhile, the 20/20 buffer circuit faithfully prevents any signal quality loss and the optical design makes sure you'll never ever have to deal with a worn out potentiometer.

Een heerlijk regelbare wah-ervaring met deze bestseller van het legendarische merk Morley.
Geniaal bedacht ook dat ie pas functioneert als je hem aanraakt. Waarom zou je ook een knop moeten
intrappen terwijl je al druk aan het spelen bent, ik had zo'n ouwe. En kraken ondanks contactspray..
Nee heerlijk wah-t dit! De enige contourknop is goed bereikbaar en kun je ook van te voren al instellen.
De dubbele voedingskeuze is erg handig en batterijcompartiment makkelijk open en dicht te klikken.
Potmeters voelen ook goed stevig aan en hebben een zeer genuanceerd ruim en wijds verloop.
Lekker stroeve plank ook met handige lichtgevende grip. De compactheid ervan en de autovering (uitkomst!)
is wel even wennen en de scharnier zit net iets meer achterin vergeleken met de vorige strijkplank die ik had.
De geluiden zijn precies wat ik verlang en zelfs nog net even meer.
Ik speel veel stijlen en naast metal past deze ook prima bij rock, blues, funk, motown en gewoon als 'talking pedal'
Nee.. Dik tevreden! :D

Wrote the following about Morley 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah Effect Pedal

Heel fijn wah-pedaal. De optische werking is een groot voordeel naar mijn mening. Hierdoor zijn er geen bijgeluiden en hoef je het pedaal niet eerst aan te klikken. Ik heb het pedaal gekocht om een aantal death metal solo's mee te spelen. Er zijn meerdere muzikanten waar ik tegenop kijk die hem ook gebruiken en ook mij voldoet het pedaal heel erg goed. Hij snijdt al lekker door de mix qua klank en door de level-knop kun je hem net dat beetje luider zetten voor je solo's.

Al met al een pedaal die voorlopig niet van mijn plank af komt.

Erg mooi vormgegeven en door de optical werking geen gekraak en gepiep (probleem met mijn vintage crybaby)

Erg mooi ook dat je het pedaal volledig kan customizen.
Wil je het Vai geluid dan kan dit, maar druk ook eens op de contour knop en speel met de verschillende opties.

Bijkomend voordeel/nadeel is dat je het pedaal niet hoeft te activeren, sta erop en het werkt, laat het los en het is uit. Dit is een voordeel in de meeste gevallen maar een nadeel als je gewend bent het pedaal in een bepaalde stand te laten staan als effect.

Verder niets dan lof, erg blij mee.
