General

The Electro Harmonix Pitch Fork is a ground-breaking polyphonic pitch shifter and harmoniser with accurate tracking. The EHX pedal is capable of transposing pitch within a range of three octaves up and down, and allows you to choose between either a fixed interval or continuous variation via an optional expression pedal, which can be plugged into the Pitch Fork’s jack connector.

Electro Harmonix Pitch Fork: Intuitive and Versatile

This EHX stompbox can be operated intuitively. A three-way toggle switch determines whether the pitch is transposed up, down, or both ways simultaneously, and a shift knob gives you eleven options to choose from within these three basic settings. The balance between the dry and the wet signals can be adjusted using the blend knob. A world of varied sounds is at your feet with this Electro Harmonix effect pedal.

The Latch Button of the Pitch Fork

The Pitch Fork’s latch button has two modes: latch and momentary. In latch mode, the Pitch Fork switches between the effect and the bypass signal with each click of the footswitch while the external expression pedal controls the level of pitch shifting. In momentary mode, the effect is only activated as long as you keep the foot switch pressed down. In that case, the position of the expression pedal determines the glissando rate. Without the use of an external pedal, the standard glissando rate is set to 60 milliseconds.
