The Sire Marcus Miller V5R 4-String is a passive vintage-styled electric bass guitar with roasted maple neck and dark rosewood fingerboard. Besides being stable, the bass guitar neck also lets you enjoy a modern comfortable playing experience. Thanks to the rounded Edgeless fingerboard edges, you can effortlessly play bass guitar for a long time without being bothered by sharp edges. While performing various playing techniques, nothing at all gets in your way. The J-style alder body completes the base and, with the other wooden parts, provides a core sound with solid mids and a slightly rounded tightness in the highs.

Marcus Miller V5R 4-String: 70's spacing for that legendary Marcus Miller sound

This sound of this Sire solidbody bass is classically amplified via the 2 specially designed Formvar pickups. These Marcus Vintage-J Revolution singlecoils have that popular 70's pickup spacing, with the bridge element positioned slightly further back. This produces more powerful and direct bass tones in this position. The basic sound of this is exactly that characteristic bass guitar sound you know from bass legend Marcus Miller. The simple layout with 2 volume knobs and a single tone control allows you to quickly dial in your passive bass tone to your liking for your version of those rich vintage J-style sounds.
