General

Going through old archives, Gibson bumped into an original blueprint of a guitar from the golden years. This here Gibson Theodore Standard is based on that very 1957 model. This singular electric guitar has a mahogany body with double Florentine cut outs that grant unrestricted access to all twenty-two medium jumbo frets that line the rosewood fretboard, and a scimitar-style headstock fitted with Grover Mini Rotomatic and a Graph Tech nut for optimum tuning stability. Also, every Gibson Theodore Standard comes wrapped up in a matching case complete with a Gibson accessory pack.

The Original Collection Theodore Standard: Cream-Filled Tone

The '57 Classic pickup in the neck position has a balanced response and gives you that warm, PAF-style sound with maximum fullness when you dial up the volume, while the '57 Classic Plus at the bridge has been slightly overwound for a bit more output, completing a dynamic duo that delivers supple, cream-filled tone supported by excellent noise suppression and Alnico 2 magnets. Both pickups have also been wax-potted to counter feedback. The master volume and master tone pot have been hand-wired and, like all Gibson guitars, come with Orange Drop capacitors.
