General

Grandmother is built for pure, unadulterated experimentation. This semi-modular analogue synthesizer packs the wisdom of Moog's modular roots alongside an arpeggiator, sequencer and spring reverb tank. The Grandmother will guide your rich sonic journey, with the unlimited potential of a reconfigurable front panel. Even a complete novice will feel comfortable with this synth, since no patching is even needed to shape something playable.

The Grandmother

Drawing inspiration from the iconic modular synths that Bob Moog designed throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's, the oscillators have been based on those of the Minimoog, while the mixer originated in the Moog CP3. The Grandmother is also fully compatible with gear like the Mother-32 and the DFAM (Drummer From Another Mother) as well as other modular Eurorack systems.

Anyone Can Play

The Grandmother generously provides an audio input, so you can feed the analogue filter, spring reverb and other circuits with external audio sources, turning this hefty chunk of synthesis into a kind of vintage effects unit for guitar, drums, or even vocals. Both USB and old-school MIDI ports have also been fitted for seamless set-up integration.
