General

This is a practical and clear DMX controller by American DJ. The Scene Setter 24 is excellently suited to control LED Pars or conventional Par spots via a dimmer pack. Also, this controller can operate 24 channels. It allows you to create various expansive chases and control them manually or run them automatically. Additionally, it features a smoke machine control function.

American DJ Scene Setter 24: clear and straightforward

Every fader on this unit controls a corresponding DMX channel, giving you an instant overview over the parameters. The twelve bottom faders can be assigned to the programmed chases, allowing for control over separate channels in addition to programmed scenes and chases. Twelve chases can run simultaneously. The speed can be adjusted via the speed fader and a tap button. This panel also features two master faders and a black-out button for an all-consuming darkness.

Zeer tevreden met de vele kanalen zeer mooi overzicht en de led verlichting geeft een zeer overzichtelijke instelling is ook simpel in gebruik zeer tevreden

Stevig aanvoelend bedieningspaneel. Behoorlijk intuïtief programmeerbaar en reeds een paar scenes voorgeprogrammeerd. Brengt DMX sturing naar een next level.

Eerst vond ik dit speeltje nogal prijzig voor 24 kanaaltjes. Ik kocht hem eigenlijk voor het sturen van een ADJ Starburst. Zo kon dat ding in de verhuur zonder telkens een pc te moeten meegeven of een speelgoed- sturing met maar 8 faders.

Al bij al zijn de mensen, die met deze sturing gewerkt hebben, heel tevreden over de eenvoudige bediening. Dat komt natuurlijk mee door het feit dat je één fader per kanaal hebt, maar ook de programmering is vrij eenvoudig.

Het tafeltje voelt zeer degelijk aan en de schuifjes zijn ok. Ik denk dat dit tafeltje wel enkele jaren zal meegaan; ook in de verhuur.

Kortom: prijzig maar je krijgt wel waar voor je geld.
