The Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Ambient Reverb is a straight-up reverb pedal fitted with intuitive controls. Made in the USA, this stompbox offers an excellent price to build quality ratio and comes loaded with sounds based on popular Walrus Audio pedals, including the SLÖ and Fathom. From rich, outstretched soundscapes to deep-and-dark pads and lo-fi reverb, this ambient reverb can shape it all, and conveniently features a buffered bypass and top-mounted jack ports.

The Fundamental Ambient Reverb: Three Modes

The Walrus Audio Ambient Reverb has a special mini-switch for toggling between three modes: Deep Mode (a dark reverb with an added low octave), Lush Mode (a reverb with ultra-long sustain), and Haze Mode (where texture meets distortion, resulting in a mysterious lo-fi reverb with a lowered sample rate and a resonant bandpass undertone).

A great reverb pedal,astoundingly beautiful sonics for the price, a deep and lush reverb that's just what you need. I nearly gave 5 stars but this isn't quite in Strymon Big Sky territory in terms of editability, it would also benefit from user memory. The power being in the side is also moderately annoying for pedal board management. However, at this price point these are minor quibbles. If you need an ambient reverb for less than £100 I doubt you'll find better.

Mooie geluiden en eenvoudig in gebruik. Mijn exemplaar had weinig volume een zware brom. Geretourneerd. Andere gebruiker in de VS had dit probleem niet. Heel jammer.
