General

Budget guitars often feel just as cheap as their price suggests, and that usually goes for their sound too. Yamaha has given "budget guitar" a new definition though. Yamaha's craftsmen have put their years of experience together to create a new line of affordable guitars, resulting in the CG series. This natural-coloured CG102A is the least expensive model from the series, but it still features the same top-quality sound and fantastic playability as its big brothers.

Yamaha CG102A: inspiring sound and feel
The CG102A classical guitar is characterised by a 4/4-sized body with meranti sides and back and a real spruce top. All of this combines to give the guitar a rich, adult sound with warm lows and bright highs. The lacquer on the sides and back has also been kept thinner to help the instrument resonate better, resulting in a fuller sound and extra sustain. Yamaha has also made the 19-fret neck of the CG102A thinner for improved playing comfort. In short, this is a classical guitar with a fantastic sound that will inspire any beginner.
