As a saxophonist, you don't want a microphone-on-a-stand to limit your on-stage mobility. What you want is the NUX B6 system: a wireless condenser microphone that clips to the bell of your sax plus a receiver that can be plugged directly into your mixer. This easy-to-use system offers sound profiles for three different saxophones (soprano, alto and tenor) and comes including a power-case that doubles as a charger for the receiver and transmitter. If preferred, both units can also be recharged using the included USB Y-cable.

If I could ask the manufacturers to improve it I'd make the on off switch a different colour so easier to find in the dark and on the receiver which plugs into the desk I'd put the on off switch on the end, rather than on the side so that you can turn it on and off without unplugging it. Very reliable and a great upgrade from wired mic which I would repeatedly step on the wire and pull if off the sax - now I can roam free!

Afgelopen weekend heb ik de NUX B-6 tijdens een optreden met volle zaal (a 500 mensen) gebruikt. Doorloop van het optreden was circa 1,5 uur. Daarbij ging de NUX microfoon RX tijdens het niet spelen na 10 minuten uit (bij elkaar hebben we 3 kwartier gespeeld). Wij werkten met een in ear systeem. De RX (de transmitter) was via een kabel zonder voeding aangesloten op het audio systeem. De band bestond uit 3 zangers, bas, ak. gitaar, piano en drums. Alles war verstrekt
Ik speelde afwisselend, tenor, alt en sopraan. Super handig overklikken, kleur aan saxofoontype aanpassen en spelen maar!
Van de geluidsman, alsook de mensen uit de zaal kreeg ik alleen maar positieve reacties. Ikzelf ervaarde een werkelijk geluid door mijn monitor (ik draag liever geen oortjes of koptelefoon tijdens optredens).
Opladen kan gemakkelijk met het doosje (of los van het doosje) met een USB ingang (na een uur is kit zeker opgeladen is mijn ervaring).
20 meter van de TX heb ik natuurlijk getest, dat gaat goed!
Kortom; erg goed setje voor relatief lage prijs!

Inprikken, pairen en spelen, handig op te laden in de kleine case, en ook los.
Heeft 3 pre sets voor sop, alt, tenor, maar heb tot nu toe alleen op alt gespeeld, dus weet niet wat die andere instellingen doen. Ontvanger is makkelijk in te prikken in de tafel/monitorset en microfoontje heeft handige en goede bevestiging voor op de sax.
Bereik zo'n 20 meter (heb ik nog niet gehaald (wel de helft) en hij schakelt na 10 min geen geluid vanzelf uit, maar in de pauze zet je hem toch altijd even uit, dus daar wordt je niet door verrast tijdens het spelen.)
Natuurlijk niet zo'n subtiel geluid als van bijv. mijn digitale Shure GLXD4 met Beta 98H microfoontje, maar daar is de prijs ook naar, en zeker geen slecht geluid. Tot nu toe gebruikt bij een paar DJ klussen; ideaal.
Handzaam, handig setje, ideaal voor dit soort klussen.

Facilité d'utilisation, de liaison émetteur/récepteur et de rechargement des batteries. La boite, très compacte, de rangement et de recharge est parfaite.
Transmission du son parfaite.
Bravo pour le + choix suivant le type de sax.
Très satisfait. Reste l'épreuve du temps.

Cet emsemble sans fil est génial. Au point de vue son, pas de latence significative, pas de parasites ni décrochage du signal même à côté de l'antenne WiFi de mon Mixer. L'appairage est rapide entre le transmetteur et le recepteur qui se fixe facilement et fermement sur le pavillon de mon ténor. Le réglage du selecteur sur position ténor est utile si l'on ne dispose pas d'une entrée avec equalizer sur la table de mixage. Je n'ai pas testé la portée en dehors de ma maison. Le rechargement par la valisette très bien pensée, est génial car automatique et sans avoir de prise secteur puisqu'elle fait charger bank.
Rien à reprocher à BAX Music sauf que le contenu du carton colissimo aurait pu être complété avec du papier craft.
Finalement je suis très satisfait de mon achat.
