General

A full-range or satellite speaker provides the best sound when placed on a stand, while a subwoofer functions optimally when placed on the ground. Logically, if you choose to work with a satellite/sub configuration, all you need to do is install a decent distance rod. This Innox IVA07 distance rod raises your full-range speaker to the right height for optimal mide-and-treble projection, and can be mounted using the 35mm stand flange integrated into the cabinet of most subwoofers.

The Innox IVA07 Distance Rod

The IVA07 distance rod has been finished with a standard 35mm screw thread at both ends, allowing for a seamless fit with the stand adapters of your full-range speakers and subwoofers. The IVA07 can be used to mount a speaker of any size onto any subwoofer, since the length of the rod can be extended from 94cm to 147cm and secured in place via a strong tightening knob and safety pin, ensuring a solid set-up that won't slip. The steel construction of the IVA07 distance rod is able to support most active and passive speakers weighing up to approximately 20kg.
