What is a B-Stock Item? Any item we can no longer sell as new is labelled B-stock. General

The old drum computers of the 70s and 80s were mostly intended as practice accompaniments for guitarists, so they could rehearse to a playing beat. History shows that they failed hopelessly in that field, only to succeed sensationally in the world of synthesisers and 1980s synthpop. The Polyend Step is also a drum machine aimed at guitarists. Not that others shouldn't or can't use the Step, but the stomps are on it for a reason, of course. The idea is largely similar to the vintage x0x drum computers, but based on over 2000 samples instead of a few simple oscillators.

Capabilities of the Polyend Step

Among those samples are acoustic drums, of course, yet also the sound of those very old drum computers. And all those sounds you can mix 'n match to your liking. Four tracks are at your disposal, with the possibility to change your parameters per step. You can make a song out of several patterns. By the way, if you are just looking for a drummer-in-a-box and don't feel like programming anything yourself: of course, there are plenty of factory presets too! Programming remains the most fun, just experimenting with parameters like filters, overdrive, reverb, delay, microtune, sample-start, chance, repeat and much more. With the old x0x you could write all these possibilities off on your belly; the Step is a really nice drum computer anno today!

Geweldige kwaliteit, van samples, hardware en de software. Werkt zeer intuïtief en dus erg gemakkelijk in gebruik. Voor mij zijn de drum ritmes die al worden meegegeven een mooi vertrekpunt om mijn eigen draai aan te geven en om mijn gitaarspel te verbeteren. Kortom een aanrader!
