General

If anyone knows how to build an innovative headless instrument, it's Ned Steinberger. The NS Design CR Radius Electric Bass is his latest showpiece where, as always, form follows function. The wedge-shaped Diradial™ body has a 20-inch radius and a concave curved back, resulting in a clearer view of the fretboard, more comfortable left hand and right hand orientation, and a snug-and-stable feel against the player's body. This premium headless bass comes complete with a matching deluxe gig bag and a tool kit.

The CR4 Radius: Wide-Ranging Sound

To guarantee versatile tone, Steinberger has gone with a set of active EMG pickups, an 18V preamp and an NS Design Polar piezo system. Pile on the 2-band EQ and the added Blend pot and what you get is an electric bass that's able to dish out a huge range of possible sounds. Hand-made in the Czech Republic where the extremely ergonomic maple body is topped with a stunning slice of flamed maple and the build is finished with a dark ebony fretboard and black hardware, the CR4 Radius Bass is perfect for discerning bassists who demand maximum playability.
