The Lag Guitars TN170ASCE combines the playability of a standard steel-string and the distinct warmth of a nylon-stringed classical guitar. This electro-acoustic has a manageable auditorium body fitted with a comfortably slim neck that measures a mere 46mm wide at the string nut. Unplugged, the solid AA cedar soundboard provides the warmth and outstanding projection of the foundation sound, and when plugged in, the integrated Fishman preamp delivers a natural-feeling on stage sound. Wat een gitaar!!
Deze gitaar heeft mij op alle punten zeer positief verrast.
De gitaar voelt zeer professioneel en bijna custom gebouwd aan. Er is nergens een klein foutje te ontdekken echt onberispelijk. Maar voor mij is het veel belangrijker dat de gitaar fijn aanvoelt. Hij is zijdeglans afgewerkt en je voelt ect het hout en geen lak.
daar waar ik vaak de snaren vervang omdat deze vaak niet goed zijn, heb ik ze er nog steeds opzitten en zijn gewoon nog goed.
Laat je niet afschrikken door de dikte van body "slim", hij heeft een goed volume en veel bass, doet niet onder voor een gewoon formaat body. Ook is de body zeer resonant.
Voor een nylon snaar gitaar is de hals smal, met 46mm toch moet ik hier nog wel even aan wennen, maar ligt wel fijn in de hand en speelt zeer soepel door de zijdeglans afwerking.
De stemmechanieken draaien soepel zonder bijgeluiden (dit heb ik wel eens bij andere merken gehad) en houden hun toon goed vast.
Zelfs de set up was naar wens. Waar ik meestal wel iets aan de action en aan de hals sleutel zodat het naar mijn wens is, heb ik daar bij deze gitaar nog geen behoefte aan.
Ik kende het merk LAG wel maar had deze nog nooit in het echt gezien en bespeeld totdat ik onlangs in muziek winkel een aantal andere LAG gitaren (Ocitana) zag staan en mij verbaasde hoe goed deze voelde en eruit zagen.
Dit heeft mij er toe doen te besluiten om op zoek te gaan naar een LAG nylon snaar gitaar met smalle hals.
En omdat deze gitaar alleen nog in Goes op voorraad was, heb ik deze gitaar besteld, zodat ik hem thuis kon uit proberen op mijn akoestische versterker .
Kortom een fantastische gitaar en snel en veilig besteld en geleverd via BAX.

Beautifully crafted, a pleasure to look at, the best crossover guitar I tried so far. The strongest points are the light weight, the handy fret and the sound which is good also without using the preamp. The fisherman preamp is easy to use. To me only one weak point. I have to adjust the height of the bridge because I prefer to narrow the distance between the strings and the fret.
