The innovative Soundwave Pickup System gives you control over a built-in preamp packed with reverb, delay and chorus effects. Even more special about this system is the fact that you don't need to plug in the ukulele to use it and are able to add a new dimension to your acoustic uke sound.

Sophia Soundwave: Royal Sound

Flight have chosen to build the Sophia using a solid spruce top and walnut sides and back. The result is a bright foundation sound enhanced by depth and warmth. High-quality components, such as the bone string nut and Worth Brown fluoro-carbon strings, lift the level of quality even higher. The Flight Sophia Soundwave comes complete with a padded gig bag, instructional booklet, Flight sticker pack and a charging cable for the Soundwave system.

Al enige jaren ben ik wat ukeleles betreft trouwe fan van Flight ukeleles.
Ze maken prachtige modellen en gebruiken uiteenlopende houtsoorten. Ik bezit er ook enkele.
Naast de bekende houtsoorten als spar, esdoorn, mahonie worden ook bijv, ceder, ebben, walnoot, acacia, mango en cocobolo houtsoorten gebruikt die allemaal weer een verschillende klank produceren.

Maar Flight is niet alleen vooruitstrevend waar het ukelelebouw, hout en klank betreft.
Ook hebben zij enkele modellen uit Princess serie voorzien van een Soundwave Pickup systeem waarbij je speciale effecten zoals reverb, delay en chorus aan je klank toe kunt voegen.
Dit kan zowel versterkt als zonder dat de ukelele aangesloten is op een versterker.
Dit Soundwave Pickup systeem is optioneel in de van de Victoria, Sophia en Diana tenor- en concertmodellen uit de Princess serie. Ik vind het een absolute aanwinst en gebruik dit vaak bij optredens. Maar ook gewoon in de huiskamer.

Mooi gebouwde bijzondere Flight. De ingebouwde effecten zijn crisp en duidelijk aanwezig. En dat zonder extra versteker.Écht geschikt voor solospel. Matte voorkant en glanzende achterkant van de kast. Is zijn geld merr dan waard.
