The Marshall 1959 Handwired Guitar Amplifier Head is a legendary model that's defined the sound of rock throughout the '60s and '70s. The iconic Super Lead voicing can be heard on countless rock records and has been revived to give contemporary guitarists the chance to work with that timeless Plexi sound and the same powerful high-gain distortion that was the go-to for so many rock stars that came before.

All-Tube Tone

Powered by two ECC83 preamp valves, an ecc83 phase splitter and a four-pack of EL34 power amp valves, the 1959 Handwired spits warm-and-saturated sound drenched in a classic Marshall sauce. Meanwhile, the 100W power capacity prepares this choice amp head for the big stage, but you can also run it in the studio in combination with a load box.
