The mute pads of Evans allow you to take the volume of your drum kit down a great deal. The SO-14HAT SoundOff is a mute pad for a 14-inch hi-hat. It is made of sturdy neoprene (a type of rubber) and can easily take a few knocks. It reduces the volume by 95%, so that you will be able to rehearse without bothering anyone.
