If you're seeking simplicity alongside excellent quality, then you can't go wrong with the powerful resonance of the solid-topped Yamaha FG/FS acoustic guitars. Part of a fifty-year-old legend, various incarnations of these models have been the most-bought acoustic guitars of their era, and for good reason. From the very start, each instrument has gained renown for its outstanding construction, tight finish, and high quality sound. While many builders have since adopted the Yamaha style, there's still no comparison when it comes to what you're getting for your money. Here, the Yamaha FS820 II has a neat and comfy concert-style body topped with a solid spruce soundboard that shapes powerful presence, and since this an upgrade on the first edition, has been given a walnut bridge and fretboard.

Yamaha FS Guitars

While the legend begins with the FG Series models, the range expanded to include guitars with smaller bodies, which are not only more manageable but are more popular among finger-picking style players. These are the FS-Series guitars, each bearing a smaller concert body; a somewhat tighter sound as a result; and an arguably more graceful look. The most significant difference between the 700 Series and 800 Series models is the more refined scalloped bracing beneath the soundboard, which enhances both the bass and mid frequencies, while the neck has a slimmer shape and the fretboard edges have been rounded off for maximum comfort. On top of that, the FS820 model has the warmth and strength provided by a mahogany back and sides and white body and fretboard binding.

Wrote the following about Yamaha FS820 AB II Autumn Burst Acoustic Guitar

I am new to guitars and swapped my beginner Yamaha F310 drednaught which I found too big for me to this guitar. I love it. Superb sound and colour and great fast service from bax music - i appreciate their u tube set up videos and the leaflet that comes with it. Their prices are very competitive too and its good to know they offer a warranty- hopefully I will never need this . Thanks bax music
