General

Yamaha's DBR series is the successor to the successful DSR and DXR series and as such it features improved DSP technology. The DBR 15's amplifier delivers up to 1,000 W of power, which provides an impressive max SPL of up to 132 dB without loss of dynamics or clarity. The woofers deliver powerful bass levels with minimal distortion.

Applications of the DBR15

You'll find that this speaker is quite robust, even though the plastic housing is rather lightweight. Furthermore, the housing has a slanted side so the speaker can also double as a floor monitor for a band, DJ or MC. The 2-channel mixer on the back offers all the functions you'd expect from a quality speaker, including a mic preamp, stereo input, and a thru connector for daisy chaining additional speakers. It's also equipped with XLR and jack connectors. The speaker can be mounted on a stand or to the wall with wall mounts (not included) and if you combine it with a subwoofer it serves as the perfect satellite speaker.

DBR15: a true all-rounder

The DBR15 offers impressive sound quality and a lot of power despite its light weight of only 19 kg. In fact, the versatile DBR series offers the same Yamaha DSP amp and speaker technology as the professional DSR and DXR series. Ik sluit me aan bij de anderen. Dit zijn no-nonsens degelijke speakers. Geen digitale displays, bluetooth etc., maar gewoon robuuste techniek. Ik heb heb deze speakers zowel in zaaltjes als buiten gebruikt. Het heldere krachtige geluid stelt nooit teleur. Je moet geen overdreven bas verwachten maar gewoon mooi gelanceerd. Ik ben zeer tevreden. Gezien de garantie die Yamaha geeft zullen ze er zelf ook vertrouwen in hebben dat het niet zomaar stuk gaat.

Deze Yamaha DBR 15 actieve speakers gekocht tijdens een mooie aanbieding bij Bax-shop.
Levering prima, ze kwamen mooi in een stevige doos aan. Voor de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is er wat mij betreft geen betere keuze op dit moment. Het geluid is fantastisch en blijft ook fantastisch als ik ze flink opendraai. En dan gaan ze hard ook !! Ook wanneer ik ze voor achtergrondmuziek gebruik, klinken ze mooi vol en accuraat.

De mixer is overzichtelijk en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, met filters en instellingen voor presentaties, monitoring of als mainspeaker met of zonder subwoofer. Een subwoofer heb je overigens niet snel nodig aangezien er genoeg laag komt uit de 15 inch.

Kortom: erg blij mee qua geluid en mogelijkheden, zeker in combi met de aanbieding bij Bax.

Wat betreft de beoordeling heb ik rekening gehouden met de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Die is voor mij 5 sterren.

Un son incroyablement puissant, une connectique parfaite pour mon utilisation, des basses bien présente c'est du Yamaha!. j'ai des S115V qui on 25 ans de loyaux services. les housses sont indispensables pour les protéger car le plastique et sensible au rayures
