General

Sennheiser's XSW-D Pedalboard Set is a wireless guitar system that includes a transmitter for your guitar and a receiver designed to fit on your pedalboard. This allows you to play your guitar wirelessly and still make use of your pedals at the same time! The receiver even has a built-in tuner. The system works on the 2.4 GHz frequency band which means it can be used anywhere in the world without a permit.

Features

Channel management is fully automatic, so you won't have to do a thing with this. Every XSW-D set can easily be put on mute too, from both the transmitter and the receiver. If you want to pair the transmitter with another receiver, that can be done with the simple press of a button. A fully charged set will last up to 5 hours, but if that's not enough, the transmitter and receiver can be charged while they're being used, even with a power bank. In the event of interference, the XSW-D set will automatically transfer itself to another channel. Lastly, thanks to the aptX protocol, you'll enjoy uncompromising, digital sound quality without any noticeable latency.

Na alle goede recensies besloten om deze aan te schaffen voor gebruik met fender jazz basgitaren (US). De klank is top, zowel op de 4 als de 5 snarige bas. Ook het dynamisch bereik is goed en geen last van latency. Ook heb ik geen last van storingen.
Maar......
Als je de transmitter direkt in de bas steekt vangen de pickups van de jazz bas de zender op, een harde hoge zoem. Niet te gebruiken dus. Voor mij was de enige manier om de transmitter aan m'n riem vast te maken (bevestiging meegeleverd).
Vreemd dat ik hier niets over lees. Overweeg serieus om voor een ander systeem te gaan.

Nu zo'n 3 maanden in gebruik en ben erg onder de indruk! Geen latency tijdens het spelen en valt nooit weg! Het geeft me veel meer bewegingsvrijheid bij optredens en hoef niet bang te zijn dat de zender eruit vliegt! Ik beveel dit iedereen aan die een goed wireless systeem zoekt!

Zeer tevreden met deze aankoop.

Zero latency. Werkt mijn inziens zelfs beter dan met kabel.

Gemakkelijk in gebruik en klinkt zeer goed.

Qua handleiding zit er enkel een quickstart sheet bij, dat mocht wel wat uitgebreider zijn.

Maar het toestel is een echte aanrader. Werkt voor mij perfect. Zeer tevreden !

Kwalitatief en betrouwbaar systeem. Gemakkelijk te gebruiken en heeft meer dan genoeg range. De tuner werkt ook fantastisch en is zeer duidelijk af te lezen op het scherm. Is ook zeer storings vrij, ik heb hem bespeeld met een wifi router er praktisch naast en heb geen problemen ondervonden. Geen merkbare latency tenzij je op de limiet van de range komt, dan merk je dit wel. Gemakkelijk te bevestigen op het pedalboard met behulp van een template en 2 bouten. Enkel spijtig dat de bouten niet in de doos zaten. Klinkt ook zeer goed. De extra high end die je bij een kabel verliest komen hier mooi tot leven. Ook de frequentierespons is zeer goed.
