The Seymour Duncan SA-3HC Woody is a passive, electromagnetic pickup for steel-string acoustic guitars. It offers a simple, affordable way to amplify your acoustic guitar without any permanent modifications. Thanks to its beautiful maple housing, this pickup looks good on any instrument. More importantly, however, is that the SA-3HC Woody passively amplifies your guitar without jeopardising its acoustic character. Thanks to its hum-cancelling design, you can enjoy a warm, rich tone without annoying 50Hz hum.

Using the Seymour Duncan SA-3HC Woody

This pickup is perfect for singer-songwriters and folk rhythm guitarists in particular. The moderate output of the SA-H3 offers plenty to amplify, while allowing you to blend the sound of your guitar with your vocals or other instruments. Like any other Woody-series pickup, the SA-3HC fits virtually any sound hole with a diameter between 95 and 102 mm. Attached to the pickup is a studio-grade cable that's 4.2 metres long and has a high-quality Neutrik jack connector on the end that allows you to connect it to a guitar amplifier, PA system or mixer.
