General

The 000M-15 acoustic guitar by Sigma Guitars sounds as good as it looks. Its solid mahogany top ensures a warm, dark sound with excellent resonance and projection. This triple-O model is perfect for styles that benefit from prominent trebles, like slide guitar, for instance.

The 000M-15: All Mahogany, All Good

Fans of mahogany guitars often state that 'all mahogany is all good' and we're not going to argue. This model has a back and sides made of mahogany to go along with the solid mahogany top. The neck is made of mahogany too and has a fretboard made of micarta that brings even more warmth to the overall sound. It's no coincidence that the 000M-15 looks and sounds similar to Martin Guitars' M series. Top-quality hardware includes Grover machine heads and a bridge saddle and string nut made of bone. That means you can count on excellent tuning stability too. In short, you get a lot for your money.

Sigma Guitars

In the 1970s, Martin Guitars launched a series of attractively-priced models under the name Sigma Guitars in order to compete with the growing number of cheaper models being produced in the Far East. Unfortunately, they stopped producing them in 2007 but a German company breathed new life into the name in 2011. With Martin Guitars' blessing, these models are now made in China. They're subject to strict quality controls and everything from the way they're made to the design of the headstock do the original models justice. In short, these acoustic guitars offer the same excellent value for money as the original models did. In the USA, these models are distributed by Martin under the name Kindred Guitars because they no longer hold rights to the Sigma Guitars name.
