The LD Systems HPA 1 is a versatile headphone and in-ear amplifier in the form of a compact, high-output beltpack built for the stage and studio. In addition to a soft-touch finish, the HPA-1 features a practical belt clip, two lockable XLR inputs for the stereo signal, a balanced mini-jack input and a mini-jack output, and a built-in limiter to counter distorted sound. This tiny amp runs on a 9V battery, offers up to 9 hours of use on a single charge and can be recharged via the DC in (power supply not included).

Fijn product en snelle verzending. Alleen jammer dat het altijd in zo'n reuze doos verzonden wordt, met 90% lucht erin.. Niet erg duurzaam! Product eergisteren gebruikt en het werkte goed. Mijn eerste in-ear kastje, gekocht op aanraden van een collega die onderzoek had gedaan naar prijs/kwaliteit. Fijn dat er een limiter op zit ook voor plotseling hard geluid.

Ik ben zeer tevreden over dit toestelletje. Het functioneert prima.
Een minpunt is er…
Er staat in de omschrijving van dit artikel dat de batterij kan worden geladin via de dc in. Maar dat werkt niet, althans niet bij mij, is ik begrijp het verkeerd, en in de handleiding kan ik hier ook niets over vinden. Ik kande batterij uiteraard in een externe lader opladen, maar het is wel een gedoe om die batterij eruit te krijgen, even snel verwisselen is er niet bij.
Dus wat betreft het laden van de batterij via de dc in, hoe moet dat? Wie het weet mag het zeggen.
Verder werkt hij prima!!!

Ik gebruik deze als in-ear monitor als drummer voor het mixen van de clicktrack van iPad via de jack ingang met de PA monitor mix via de XLR ingang. Het enige nadeel is dat de jack ingang geen aparte volumeknop heeft. Maar de balans is prima af te stellen door volume van IPad aan te passen. Ik was even bang dat het jack signaal ook bij max volume van de iPad te laag zou zijn maar dat is niet het geval; XLR ingang heeft een lagere impedantie dan jack ingang. Wel ben je natuurlijk nog afhankelijk van de geluidsman voor de juiste monitor mix.
