General

The Fazley Delora CE is built with a top made of solid torrefied spruce. That sounds complicated, but it simply means that the wood has been heated at a high temperature, eliminating moisture and resin. The result is a more stable piece of wood that behaves as if it has been played in for years. So you immediately get that full, open sound that normally only develops after years of playing. For guitarists who want to enjoy a mature sound right away, this is a big advantage. A nice bonus is that the guitar comes complete with a handy gig bag.

Delora CE with rosewood body

The sides and back are made of rosewood, a type of wood that has been loved by luthiers for decades. Rosewood is known for its rich, warm tone with a clear bass and sparkling treble. It gives the guitar a wide tonal spectrum that comes into its own for both fingerpicking and solid strumming. In addition, rosewood has an attractive grain and deep colour, making the guitar not only sound good, but also look stylish.

Eye for detail

A detail that is often overlooked, but has a lot of impact, is the nut. On the Delora CE, this is made of bone, a material that is harder and denser than plastic.
