The Guild D-50E Standard Natural is one of those premium western guitars that is all about high-quality materials and traditional craftsmanship from the United States. Handmade with great attention to detail and featuring solid wood throughout the construction, giving that premium feel. The solid Sitka spruce top gives a direct, lively response with plenty of clarity and dynamics. The sides and back made of solid Indian rosewood provide a deep and rich defined base that makes the D-50E well balanced. Together, this delivers a mature sound that lends itself perfectly to both fingerpicking and solid strumming. In addition, the dreadnought body provides powerful projection and plenty of volume! And the C-shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard feels comfortable and stable, even during long playing sessions. But the looks of the Guild D-50E Standard are good too: the thin Vintage Gloss nitro lacquer makes the wood vibrate and shine optimally, which contributes to that instantly played-in feeling from the first moment you hold the guitar.
