With the Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH V, Squier prove that a top-notch 5-string bass can pack vintage looks plus a modern sound and feel and still be affordable. Besides a satisfying roasted maple C-profile neck, this offset solid-body bass features an extra B string and black chrome hardware to match the headstock and matte paint-job.

The Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH V: Smooth Lines and Solid Sounds

A fast and fluid playing feel is provided by the combination of a set of narrow tall frets and an unusually flat 12-inch fretboard radius, while the satin finish of the neck ensures a smooth ride up and down the frets. In terms of sound, the Contemporary Active Jazz has been fully furnished with the defined, solid tone and modern bite of an HH pickup configuration, backed up by an active preamp that sends a balanced signal straight to your amp and allows you to tweak the sound with the help of a bass/treble boost and blend pot per pickup.

Mooie bas, speelt lekker, maar helaas ging de electronica vrij snel stuk. Netjes op garantie een andere gitaar gekregen, maar die hield er ook mee op. Zelf de printplaat gereinigd en opnieuw gesoldeerd
