General

The Polyend Mess is an extended multi-effect with sequencer, a combination that is not very common. What's the case; the Mess has four parts, i.e. four simultaneous effects. And here you can think of fairly common effects (delay, reverb, chorus, filter, overdrive) and some less common effects like 'Granular Burst', 'Particle Sampler' and a pitch-shifter. Lots of different effects, with parameters. And precisely those parameters you can adjust in the sequencer per step. Seen this way, this is not just a traditionally usable effect (of good quality, by the way), it is very much an effect for very progressive sound designers. Of course usable for guitarists, but actually usable outside that realm too. There are stomps on it, so 't does suggest hands-free use, for example on stage. The sequences can also have their own speed and length. So if you pair such sequences with an effect that very radically adjusts timbre, you can create an infinite wash of timbres with it. 'Tis a fun toy, that's for sure!
