RØDE NTH-50 headphones

Great pair of headphones these have replaced my old pioneer hdj2000 mk2’s very comfy isolation is great considering they are on ear (miles better than HD25’s) overall sound quality is very very good . Nice feature how the cable can be attached on the left or right. Aluminium cans feel great and add the perfect level of weight basically Rode took the HD25 and brought them up to date. The lifetime warranty is nice to have !

RØDE NTH-50 – na een maand gebruik echt een aanrader
Ik heb deze koptelefoon ongeveer een maand geleden gekocht voor mijn vriendin, maar gebruik hem inmiddels zelf ook regelmatig als zij hem niet nodig heeft. Ter vergelijking heb ik zelf de Technics EAH-DJ1200 DJ-koptelefoon, dus ik kon ze goed naast elkaar leggen.
Draagcomfort
Dit is waar de RØDE echt uitblinkt. De pads zitten een stuk zachter dan die van de Technics, en de headphone past beter op het hoofd en rond de oren. Ook is hij lekker licht, waardoor je hem makkelijk op- en afzet zonder gedoe.
Geluid
Qua geluidskwaliteit ontlopen de twee elkaar niet veel: beide hebben een goede, stevige bas en heldere hoge tonen. Op klankgebied kies je dus eigenlijk niet fout.
Kabel en aansluiting
Beide koptelefoons hebben een afneembare kabel met bijpassende adapter, dus wat dat betreft zijn ze gelijkwaardig en even praktisch in gebruik.
Levering
Bax leverde snel en zonder gezever - precies zoals het hoort.

Ik kocht deze een maandje geleden bij Bax, weliswaar via bol.com. Ik had een nieuwe DJ hoofdtelefoon nodig en twijfelde tussen de Sennheiser HD25, de AIAIAI TMA-2 en deze. De Rode is vrij nieuw, de HD25 heb ik eerder gehad en is natuurlijk een goede keus. De AIAIAI is een stuk prijziger als je de goede drivers wil voor DJ, dus ik dacht ik neem de gok en ga voor de Rode NTH-50. Daar heb ik geen enkele spijt van. Dit is echt een geweldige hoofdtelefoon. Het geluid is perfect voor mixing, de on-ears sluiten ontzettend goed af en het volume kan zeer zeer hoog zonder aan geluidskwaliteit te verliezen. De balans is erg goed. Voldoende laag, maar toch ook genoeg mid en hoog zodat je ook op andere zaken dan de kickdrum prima kan matchen, voor wie dat dog doet tegenwoordig ;) Ook de prijs is voor wat je krijgt ontzettend goed. Het is natuurlijk even aankijken hoe deze de tand des tijds en ruw gebruik doorstaat, maar het lijkt allemaal heel robuust. Ook bieden ze 'lifetime warranty'. Je moet dan wel je product registreren. Dit gaat dan vooral om foutjes in productie, dus iets wat onterecht los komt te zitten.

Ik vind 'm zelf fijner dan de HD25, maar dat zal persoonlijk zijn. De AIAIAI heb ik nooit gebruikt, dus dat blijft gissen. Hoe dan ook ben ik tevreden en zal ik niet anytime soon overstappen naar wat anders. Een aanrader.
