Wrote the following about Rode Tripod microphone stand
Een zeer degelijke driepoot die erg geschikt is voor portable recorders en lichte microfoons. Zwaardere microfoons moeten direct op de voet gemonteerd worden via de 5/8" schroef om inzakken of omvallen van de tripod te voorkomen. Een extreem voorbeeld: de Rode NT2-A moet ook nog schuin geplaatst worden wil de tripod stabiel blijven staan. Voor lichtere apparatuur is het afneembare deel met kogelmechanisme erg solide en makkelijk in gebruik. Prettig is ook dat dit bovendeel geschikt is voor ingangen met 3/8" of 1/4" schroefdraad. In feite is dus bijna alles op de tripod te plaatsen, mits het gewicht dit toelaat. Vijf sterren zullen het echter niet worden omdat het kogelmechanisme te zwak is voor zwaardere apparatuur, en u voor het groffe geschut dus direct op de 5/8" schroef moet monteren, wat nadelig is voor de maximale hoogte van deze standaard.
