Ik heb deze momenteel in gebruik met een Samson C01U Pro die dichtbij je mond moet zitten voor een hard genoeg én zuiver geluid. Het statief staat stevig en het gewicht houdt hij prima. Wel is hij inclusief een microfoon vrij lang. Het grootste nadeel aan dit statief is dat het een vrij hoge minimumlengte (25cm) heeft. Sommige standaarden zijn te kort en dat werkt niet, maar te lang is ook niet ideaal, vooral niet als je je zithouding of werkplek verandert.

Hoewel in de productomschrijving staat dat de Rode DS1 standaard minder geschikt zou zijn voor zware microfoons is voor mij de combiatie met de Rode PodMic (937 g) werkelijk perfect.
Deze combinatie maakt het geheel solide en stabiel vanwege de zware kwaliteit.
De microfoon is in hoogte verstelbaar en soepel om zijn as te draaien. De laagste stand is voor mij precies goed.
De XLR kabel van de microfoon kan netjes langs de steel geleid worden via twee kabelklemmetjes.
Mooie hoogwaardige afwerking.
Ik ben 100% tevreden over het gebruik en de kwaliteit van dit product. Aanrader!!!

Een keurige, stevige en stabiele voet. Ik gebruik het icm de Podmic. Er zit een rubberen rand aan de onderkant maar ik leg er nog een dun muismatje onder om het nog verder te dempen. De laagste stand is nog best hoog, maar tevreden mee!

Ik gebruik deze tafelstand om mijn Shure SM7b op te bevestigen voor voice-over werk en online conferences en ben er heel tevreden mee. Ik lees andere reviews op Bax die het zouden hebben over instabiliteit, hier heb ik met de Shure SM7b helemaal geen last van. Wellicht is deze mic ook wel erg gebalanceerd in het midden qua zwaartepunt. Ik kan hem echter een flinke tik geven, maar hij valt niet om.
Erg tevreden voor deze applicatie dus. :)

Goed afgewerkt statief voor redelijke prijs.
Er is echter één nadeel:
Aan de onderkant van het tafelstatief zitten 3 rubbervoetjes waardoor het statief kantelt wanneer er te veel gewicht aan 1 kant hangt. Een zwaardere voet zou het gebruiksgemak vergroten.

Ik kocht het tafelstatief eigenlijk om er mijn iPad aan te bevestigen zodat ik gemakkelijk zittend voice-overs kan inspreken. Maar helaas ging dat niet. Teveel gewicht op 1 plek, dus hij viel om. Helaas was er geen statief met een grotere of zwaardere voet.
Toch heb ik hem gehouden want hij doet nu dienst als micstand voor mijn on-the-road opnamestudio. Samen met een popfilter en mijn Apogee Mic doet ie het prima! Lekker klein dingetje dus prima mee te nemen!

De Rode NT1-A "COMPLETE" vocal recording solution komt zonder de stand, wat er voor zorgt dat men zelf een soort There-I-Fixed-It oplossing moet vinden. Rode zelf beveelt de DS1 stand aan voor de NT1-A vocal recording solution, maar vemeldt er wel niet bij dat de stand het extra gewicht van de shockmount niet aankan en dus meteen omvalt! Waardeloos.
