General

The DIM-4 is a versatile 4 channel dimmer from Showtec. It can be controlled via DMX, driven by music or used in stand-alone mode. Each channel can handle up to 3A, giving the whole unit a total power consumption of 12A. When you use a DMX controller, you can choose to control connected LEDs together, through 2 channels or separately. If you prefer your spots to move to the music, the DIM-4 has a mode that does this easily. The Showtec DIM-4 is available in this Shuko version as well as a Local Control version. The LC version is particularly interesting if you want more options in stand-alone mode.

Showtec DIM-4

Prachtige apparatuur, werkt altijd. Het probleem is alleen dat je er een minimaal vermogen van zeker 25-30 Watt aan moet hebben wil je de verlichting uit krijgen. Dus met de hedendaagse LED verlichting die nauwelijks vermogen trekt krijg je het soms niet uit. Het aansluiten van kleine vermogens geeft dus nog wel eens een uitdaging. Verder is het prima.

Werkt altijd! Nooit moeten later repareren. Heeft voor elk kanaal een aparte zekering en nog een hoofdzekering ook. Als er een lamp niet werkt gewoon de zekering vervangen.
