Klank is niet slecht, maar voor mij als saxofonist in een popband zijn ze functioneel niet bruikbaar. Dit omdat ze niet blijven zitten en/of niet genoeg dempen. Ik heb al veel tijd besteed aan het uittesten van de verschillende kussen die erbij zitten, maar de grijze foams (die het meest dempen) blijven niet zitten (mogelijks komt dat door de minieme bewegingen die ik moet maken met mijn kaak als saxofonist, maar zangers en dergelijke zullen hetzelfde probleem ervaren). De andere vormen dempen dan weer amper waardoor ik mijn gehoor beschadig als ik ze wil gebruiken.

Jammergenoeg liet ik ze thuis te lang aan de kant liggen, waardoor ik ze niet kan retourneren :/ , zou ook wel wat onhygiënisch zijn...

Deze als optie naast mijn Shure SE215. Geluid zit wat meer in het laag, maar dat is logisch met meer drivers per kant. Prima doppen verder maar wel een beetje 'bulky'.
Ik vindt de pasvorm van de Shures beter. Ik gebruik de grootste foamen doppen want ik wil echt goeie afsluiting van het geluid. De grootste foamen doppen van de Staggs passen op zich goed (zijn wel een stuk kleiner dan de Shure variant) maar een erg belangrijk nadeel is dat ze echt minder dempen.
Hierdoor komen de geluiden van bijvoorbeeld de drums veel harder door (zelfs te hard tov de Shures) wat ook weer toe lijd dat je het volume van de in-ear harder moet zetten. Dit zorgt alleen maar voor meer overall-volume, dus slechter voor je gehoor.

Een no-go voor mij dus helaas en daardoor niet bruikbaar.
