Stagg MXS-A1 Mixer / Keyboard Stand

Excellent stand for a sitting position and perfect for my Studiologic SL88. A reasonable amount of adjustment in width and height. Very sturdy, absolutely no wobble, even on unlevel surfaces, unlike other options such as X and Z stands.

I was looking for a stand that is sturdy and suitable for my 88 key digital piano (125cm in length and 28cm in width). I did not want an 'X' stand because they would obstruct my knees. This product is assembled and ready to pop and adjust to desired width and height. Its powder-coated steel looks good in our living room. It's got the same footprint as our piano, so no additional space consumption.

A very good, robust stand that needs no building, it just unfolds and fixes firmly in place with two struts, one either side.

The mechanism to make it wider is easy to operate and the adjustable legs make it simple to raise to the exact height you want - completely flexible; no fixed anchor points, which I was anxious may have been the case.

Very good service from Bax and at a price that was considerably keener than anywhere else.

My only small negative is that the pads on either side to rest the keyboard on have engineered holes in them for some reason which escapes me, so you cannot easily place the keyboard on its feet which means that you have to get the width very precisely, so that the feet of the keyboard go through the holes and the keyboard rests on the bottom of its frame, hence why I have dropped a star; I would have dropped only half as star as it's not a huge issue, just slightly annoying on an otherwise excellent product.

All X stands tend to jiggle around under a keyboard. These don't. Bax Music price is competitive, and service second to none.

Arrived promptly and a good, sturdy stand - I only have a small keyboard so don't need the extended width, but on its narrowest setting this is ideal size, and I prefer it to the type of stand with crossed bars as this is more comfortable when sitting as I can stretch my legs out under the keyboard.

Item delivered promptly. Good quality, fully adjustable, robust and is perfect for our needs. The keyboard doesn't slide on the stand as there are felt type surface grippers at either end. This should last us for many years.
