Stagg SPM-435 BK Live In-Ear Monitors

Having been a user of Shure IEMs for some time, I needed a replacement. Given my available budget and the price point on these IEMs, I was prepared to be slightly underwhelmed. Totally not the case. After swapping out the fitted buds for the supplied silicone flanged buds that seal in my ears better, I’m very impressed with the audio quality right across the range of frequencies. My view. Very good value, very good quality. The only criticism I have is regarding the mini stereo jack. Personally, rather than the straight mini jack, I would have liked to have a right-angle stereo mini jack that fits my wireless body pack better. Do I have buyer remorse? Nope… Would I recommend them to my band mates? Hell Yes….

Just bought these here in Cyprus from a local store and wanted to share my experience. I listened to music that I'm very familiar with and immediately noticed a massive dip in the high mids. It's so obvious it's not funny. Thankfully my sound card's (RME UFX) software mixer allows me to EQ my outputs so I added 8db at 3kHz. It instantly opened up and sounded awesome. Without the EQ it sounds like you've thrown a blanket over a speaker. I don't know how they achieved that with 4 drivers. Either way, try it out yourselves. 8dB at 3kHz, nice and wide Q. I also added 5dB shelf at 60Hz and the end result was very pleasing. I'd recommend these if you have a way of EQing your outputs, otherwise, you'll feel that hole in the frequencies. If you can EQ your output then you can't beat how big this sounds at this price point.
