General
The Yamaha FC7 is an expression pedal for synthesizers, pianos and keyboards. With the Yamaha FC7 you can control the volume and add expression. It also has a fortissimo function with which you can accentuate certain parts of your music. You can adjust the angle of the pedal to your position, whether you are sitting or standing. The total angle of the pedal is 30 degrees. Among others, it's suitable for Yamaha keyboards with a foot controller input and for amplifiers from the DG series.
Practical Use
This Yamaha pedal has an intelligent design: its ideal length/width ratio adds playing comfort. Should you use more than one pedal, you can stick some tape at the top of the pedal in order to distinguish it. If you use several FC7s, you can connect them to each other so that they won't slip away and stay put in a row. When the show is over, the compact pedal is easy to store. as the bottom of the FC7 has room to hold the cable.

I purchased the Yamaha Fc7 expression pedal for my Tyros5 keyboard this is really a well made piece of kit, its weighty and does not move on a wooden floor. Well worth the money

De Yamaha FC7 is een mooi degelijk Volumepedaal en had ik aanschaft vanwege zijn stevige groot formaat en degelijke uitvoering. Ik wilde deze combineren als expressiepedaal met de Roland RD 2000.
Om te gebruiken voornamelijk op Hammondklanken en die geluiden te kunnen aanzwellen.
Helaas moet ik deze afraden. Er is geen geleidelijke zwel curve. Het is of (bijna) uit of vol volume.
Dus heb ik helaas deze geretourneerd.
Het is vast wel een goed pedaal icm met andere keys, maar helaas niet met Roland.

Ik hoor vaak van gebruikers "Yamaha is wel duur, maar de kwaliteit en kwantiteit is wel heel goed". Als voormalig demonstrateur van de bekende DX-7 van Yamaha kan ik dit wel onderstrepen. Als je dan het instrument/artikel van klein tot groot, goed onderhoud, dan is Yamaha een wereldleider in geluid, kwaliteit en kwantiteit van hun producten. Neem nu het Yamaha FC7 expressie pedaal, daar speelde ik met mijn Yamaha CS-80 in 1979 al mee. Destijds een perfect volume pedaal wat je nooit in de steek liet, nooit kraakte en altijd paraat was. Nu voor mijn Yamaha Genos 2 een nieuw exemplaar FC7 aangeschaft. Dit model is zwaarder uitgevoerd, blijft daardoor nog beter op de plaats staan. Kortom, iets wat al erg goed was, is toch weer verbeterd. En wat je misschien niet weet..........., de Yamaha FC7 koste in 1979 meer dan nu bij Bax Music.

De FC7 is een echte aanrader. Ik gebruik hem op mijn net gekochte Yamaha Genos2. Hij is degelijk, lekker zwaar waardoor hij niet gaat schuiven en super makkelijk in gebruik. Voor deze prijs een topper !!!

Ik gebruik 2 pedalen bij mijn Nord Stage 3. Mijn eerste FC7 is zonder overdrijven 30 jaar meegegaan.
(DX7-IID) Dit pedaal is een superdegelijk. Redelijk zwaar met antislip waardoor hij goed blijft liggen en niet verschuift. Ik heb 2 pedalen aan elkaar gekoppeld als setje. (standaard optie). Gewoon top. Als deze ook 30 jaar meegaan wordt het een erfstuk.......

Heerlijk zwelpedaal, voelt degelijk en natuurlijk aan. Ik gebruik het op mijn Crumar Mojo CL. Het is compact en toch zwaar genoeg om niet weg te schuiven. Het reageert direct en goed.
Het expressiepedaal van Crumar zelf vond ik te groot en te zwaar en de Yamaha is ook nog eens goedkoper.

Mijn eerdere pedaaltje vond ik niet fijn werken. Nu ik deze FC7 heb aangeschaft merk ik goed het verschil en wordt muziek maken (Yamaha Genos) nog leuker. Pedaal ligt stabiel op de vloer en volume is met voet prima te regelen.
