General
The Yamaha MP CR 14E mouthpiece with a slightly smaller rim than the 16E has a beautiful soft sound. The focus is perfect and it produces stable sound over the entire range of your instrument.
The Standard series
Along with musical instruments, Yamaha also produces all of the accessories for them. Accessories are important because many times they're the reason why something small just doesn't seem quite right with your instrument. Simply changing or upgrading your mouthpiece, for example, can make a huge difference in both sound production and playability. The differences between various mouthpieces range from subtle to great, just like the differences in the tones they produce. For this reason Yamaha offers a large assortment of mouthpieces, so you can find just the right one for your instrument and your playing style.
